Direct coupling flanges made of aluminium for connecting electric motors directly to the shaft tube.
Intermediate flanges are used if the fastening threads of the electric motor do not match the bores of the direct coupling flange or if the coupling required for the motor shaft does not fit into the coupling flange and therefore a larger coupling flange must be used. They are screwed onto the motor and then have the appropriate hole pattern with which they can then be screwed onto the direct coupling flange.
