Direction of rotation of ship propellers

For Aeronaut brass propellers, the direction of rotation is always in the direction of travel of the ship.
For single-engine vessels, if possible, always use left-turning propellers to avoid turning (losing) the propeller when moving forward (with right-hand thread). Secure the propeller with threadlocker and locknut.

In our MS propellers (manufactured by Raboesch), we always use the direction of rotation as seen in the direction of travel, as is usual in shipbuilding.

right > rotating clockwise to the top right (clockwise)
left > turning to the top left outside (counter-clockwise)

If you do not clearly see the direction of rotation in the order, please state the direction of rotation in the order as a short note. We will send you the correct one.
