RX-3 Sportboot RTR, II election

only 1 model in stock for special price

The RX-3 is an outboard hydroplane, powered by a six-cylinder, Mercury Mark 75 outboard motor generating 60 BHP. It is the boat with which Hugh Entrop set up a new speed record of around 200 km/hr in the international CLASS X in the year 1958.

Our version is a semi-scale model supplied in ready-made form. The hull and top cover are moulded in epoxy GRP. As standard the boat is also fitted with an
outboard motor, speed controller and steering servo. The outboard motor simulates the look of these power plants in the 1950's, and is powered by a brushless electric motor with a flexible shaft. The height and thrust angle are adjustable, and the motor is cooled by a factory-fitted water-cooling system.

With a 3S LiPo battery the boat is capable of speeds up to 55 km/hr.

The scope of delivery includes the completely built model, outboard motor "Retro" (7005/05), brushless ESC 60A, servo.

To operate the model the only additional items required are a radio control system with suitable receiver, and a drive battery (not included).

The model is second choice with small fixable defects
