Bow truster brass 14/16mm

In cross-flow rudders with flat propellers, the thrust is generated by a rotating flat propeller. This results in a very narrow design, so that these transverse rudders can still be installed without problems in the bow of the ship model even in very tight spaces (min. Dimension d5; see drawing)

The heart of our cross-flow rudder with split tunnel is the gear unit, which is manufactured exclusively as a full metal version. Brass tubes are pushed onto the massive gear unit on both sides. These are glued to the gear unit by the model maker. The two snap-on brass tubes allow easy installation in the ship's hull, since the holes in the hull do not have to be unnecessarily large. Since the inner wall has almost no shoulder, the flow resistance is very low. The transverse rudders are supplied without a clutch, motor bracket and 7.2 volt electric drive.
Execution with:
· Drive housing made of turned brass.
· Drive housing sealed with O-rings.
· Drive housing soldered in the middle section of the tunnel.
· Brass wing propeller for power transmission.
· Drive shaft made of stainless steel, V2A, rustproof.
· Drive shaft with 2 bronze bearings.
· Drive shaft sealed with radial shaft seal, 100% watertight.
· Factory permanent lubrication of the drive shaft.
· Push-on nozzles made of brass (also available in special lengths at extra cost).
· Surface finish by glass bead blasting.
