The mounting hole is tightly fitting for the planetary geared motor.
The beam has a receiving bore for the flattened shaft of the transmission.

Assembly
Insert the motor from below into the housing of the radar.
Put the radar bar on the shaft. Pay attention to the flat spot.
The beam does not have to be glued.

Dismantling of the geared motor:
Pull radar beams.
Press the shaft and slide the motor down.
Not pull on the shaft upward.

Caution: Do not rotate with force on the transmission shaft.

Material: PLA 3-D printing.
Support structures are removed. The surface is pre-smoothed, but still has small marks.
Slightly sand the surface, abrasive sponge (grain size 80), file cut 1-2
Spray with spray filler.

Geared motor G 609

As a drive for cranes, radar drives, rope winches, flaglines, tag signals, the G609 with planetary gear is ideally suited!
The output shaft is a 2.0 mm plastic shaft flattened on one side, matching our radar beam.
With 3 V and a suspension of 1: 699,5 it is very strong for its size.

Assembly

Place the radar bar on the shaft. Pay attention to the flat spot.
The beam does not need to be glued.
Disassembly of the gear motor:
Pull off the radar bar.
Press on the shaft and slide the motor down and out.
Do not pull up on the shaft.
Caution: do not turn the gear shaft with force.

Material: PLA 3-D printing.
Support structures are removed. The surface is pre-smoothed, but still has small grooves.
Lightly sand the surface and smooth it with a spray spatula.
We recommend for surface smoothing:
File cut 1-2
Medium abrasive sponge (80 grit)

Tension:
3V gear motor
Controller input voltage 4.5-28V, the output voltage is adjustable on the controller.

Attitude:
Turn the potentiometer to the right with a 2mm slotted screwdriver. The engine stands still.
Now turn slowly to the left. The engine starts to turn. Set the speed.
Note: if the motor becomes loud, the voltage output is too high.

The bar has a locating hole for the flattened shaft of the gear motor.

Mounting
Insert the motor into the radar housing from below.
Put the radar bar onto the shaft. Pay attention to the flat spot.
The bar does not need to be glued in place.

Dismantle the gear motor:
Pull off the radar bar.
Press on the shaft and push the motor out downwards.
Do not pull upwards on the shaft.

Caution: do not use force to turn the gear shaft.

Material: PLA 3-D print.

Lightly grind over the surface and smooth with spray filler.
